Desecration December, day 23: Pallbearer
Listening to Pallbearer today to pick out my tasty snacks, I wondered why I don't listen to them more. Fantastic, epic doom with some of the most crushing riffs ever written (see the breakdown in Foundations). Saw them open for Obituary a while back (odd pairing) and was a little surprised by how much stronger the vocals were live - I find them mixed a bit thinly on the records.
