Desecration December, day 15: Voivod
I've seen Voivod twice now - once, at a sparsely attended show at the Phoenix a few years ago, and more recently opening for Acid Bath (see day 2) at the Rebel to a larger and more lively crowd (and where I picked up this shirt). It's too bad the first show felt a little flat because it was great to hear more of their discography. I was introduced to Voivod as a teenager and it's wild to think that their first album came out the year I did - and also, that they're now august Quebec celebs. Still writing and playing great music.
